Dynamo MF Leonel Miranda scored his first goal of the season but Real Salt Lake responded with goals from FW Jordan Allen and Yura Movsisyan eight minutes apart in the second half as the Houston Dynamo fell 2-1 at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday.

Miranda delivered a 1-0 lead in the 54th minute after sustained high pressure from the Dynamo. D Sheanon Williams ran down a loose ball in the penalty area and passed to FW Giles Barnes, who quickly fed Miranda, who fired a low shot from 22 yards that took a slight deflection off D Jamison Olave and inside the near post for a 1-0 lead.

Allen equalized for Real Salt Lake eight minutes later after the Dynamo failed to clear and MF Boniek García lost possession 25 yards from goal. D Justin Glad quickly passed to Allen, who blasted a shot past GK Joe Willis from 15 yards for the tying goal.

Movsisyan produced the winning goal in the 70th minute, darting to the near post to meet a cross from D Demar Phillips and finish from three yards for a 2-1 RSL lead.
