Tickets for the 2015 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament, which will be held May 20-23 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, will go on sale Thursday, April 2.

The 7,500-seat Constellation Field is home to the Sugar Land Skeeters, a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, and opened in 2012.

An all-tournament pass, which allows entry into all 15 possible games of the tournament, is $55. A single-day pass, which will include four games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with a possibility of three games on Saturday, is $17 each day.

Skeeters season-ticket holders will be eligible for an $11 ticket offer. Additionally, children 5 and under will be admitted free of charge, while students at Southland Conference Institutions will also gain free admission with a valid student ID.

The double-elimination tournament will include the conference’s top eight teams. Each team will be placed into two brackets with the two bracket winners meeting in the winner-take-all championship game Saturday, May 23, at 6 p.m. The winner of the tournament will receive the Southland Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

There will be a minimum of 13 games played during the four-day tournament. Game times the first three days of the tournament are 9 a.m., noon, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. A minimum of one game and up to three games could be played on championship Saturday.

The Southland Conference’s 13 member institutions include Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist, UIW, Lamar, McNeese State, New Orleans, Nicholls, Northwestern State, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F.
